Aroma Works | Basil & Orange Candle

So as many of my regular readers may be aware, I'm quite the candle addict lover & have an ever growing collection that I am yet to burn myself through, that however didn't stop me from picking up yet another beautifully scented jar of goodness!

Beautiful packaging aside, the Basil & Orange candle from Aroma Works is super luxurious soy and aromatherapy oil based, allowing it to be safe to burn as it isn't full of those nasty chemicals some regular candles posess.

The scent is very spa like (I will let you in on a little secret, it is extremely reminiscent of the Neom candle - Basil & Neroli and a fraction of the price), the basil is light and fragrant, whilst the orange notes are subtle and warming, it is a very calming and relaxing fragrance, therefore when you light this you almost unwind and chill without even realising you have done so, perfect for somone like me who doesnt have the ability to unwind easily after a long day!

I picked up mine from Waitrose, who I believe the collection is actually in collobaration with, which makes me very happy as I can pick up my favourite scented treats alongside my weekly food shop, although I would say it wouldn't be great for the bank balance, but they are extremely reasonably priced at £10, which frankly I would pay alot more for a candle of this high quality!

Have any of you tried AromaWorks Candles? Im keen to try more from the range, so if you have any recommendations, or if you have any other brands you think I might like let me know!

Summer Ready Mani/Pedi - Gelish - Tiki Tiki Laranga

Tiki Tiki Laranga, does this name just not have you imagining laying on the beach with your toes in the sand, a cocktail in hand and the sun shining down on your bronzed up body, it does for me!

Being trained in CND Shellac means I'm constantly making other peoples paws look bright and colourful other than allowing the time for myself to do my own, with that thought in mind I decided to take it upon myself to have a little treat and book in to have a mani/pedi at a salon near my home!

I must say the experience was soooo relaxing I could've fallen asleep in the massage chair whilst my feet rested in a bubbling warm jacuzzi stylefootbath with heavenly spa salts mixed into it!

I've never been someone who likes my feet being touched, I'm naturally a ticklish person so the thought of a pedicure slightly scared me, though I was pleasantly surprised as to how relaxing it was!

I opted for Tiki Tiki Laranga as I've been on the hunt for the brightest neon orange for too long so as soon as I spotted this on the swatch reel I instantly knew that was my shade for summer!

It's really is super bright, almost highlighter fluro bright, I love how it stands out so much and I feel slightly more tanned with it on, funny how colours can do that?

The whole process is simple, base coat for 10 seconds, colour coat x 2 for 2 minutes each and top cat for a further 2 minutes all cured under a uv/led light.

The finish is super high shine and you can instantly see the difference between gel and regular polish, the shine is just like nothing else I've seen before!

Adding in the fact it can last upto three weeks with no chips, scuffs or peeling, and best of all, Gelish still allows the nails to breath underneath meaning they grow long and strong, mine have started growing already and I can seriously notice the difference in strength since having the gel applied!

(Manicure after a week of having the gel applied, no chips!)

I'm so pleased I had these applied, as my nails after two weeks are still perfectly intact and look as fresh as they did when I first stepped out of the salon!

I'll definitely be converting from Shellac over to Gelish as the product is far superior to my original Shellac polishes and results after weeks of use are much better!

Have you ever tried a gel manicure? Let me know your thoughts on them, lots of love, Frankie x

Bumble and Bumble - Secret Hairdressers Invisible Oil

Hey my lovelies, im welcoming myself back to the wonderful world of blogging, seeing as i have been MIA for a while now :( i have seriously missed blogging so much, if you guys read my last post you will have seen a little bit of what i have been upto recently, but to cut a long story short i have had a very hectic few months, i have finally moved house and nearly all settled into it, but thats all for another post coming soon (hint hint house tour)

I just wanted to write a short post about this beauty, i have had this for agessss and recently decided to start using again as i was a little bored of Moroccan Oil and wanted something to bring my dry winter hair back to life!

The Secret hairdressers invisible oil is actually so lovely, its very lightweight - aslong as you use it sparingly, if you apply to much to your hair it can make your hair look very greasy and it doesnt come out until you next wash it so bear that in mind!

If you apply a small 10p piece to your hand and smooth into wet/damp hair you will seriously have no fly aways or frizziness once your hair has dried!

I just recently had my hair trimmed as even though i am growing it long it had become unmanagable and very dry due to the weather in England being very cold and humid, this has brought my hair back to life, and adding the oil into my haircare routine has definitely improved the condition of it even more, im loving this little bottle of orange goodness right now and think i will be using it for a while atleast :)

Have any of you used this oil or have any reccomendations for Bumble and Bumble products as im really keen to try out some more stuff from the brand and tempted by a shampoo & conditioner!

Let me know and ill see you all soon, Lots of Love

Frankie xXx
