Mask Sundays is something that i've been doing for the past few weeks without even intending too, every weekend I go to my beauty stash and pull out the latest addition to my collection and slather it all over my face until I'm contempt that you can no longer see any actual part of my real face!

This week was a treat from the Lush Kitchen, the Oatifix fresh face mask, first things first, it smells absolutely delicious, you genuinely feel like you could pick this up and scrape it out as your sunday breakfast (post hangover?) and feel pretty damn happy with how good it tastes!
In all seriousness though DO NOT EAT IT!

Oatifix contains all the fresh goodness you would expect from Lush and is packed full of amazing skincare benefits including illipe butter which reduces redness, a HUGE problem I suffer with so this is straight up my street. along with bananas, crushed almonds and of course oats, these all combined allow you to have super soft and nourished skin.

The ingredients are also great if you are a dry skin sufferer i.e: myself, As many of you may know if you've read my blog or watched my YouTube videos for a while now, I suffer from really dry/flaky & dehydrated skin, something that I battle with on a daily basis and this was the main reason I picked up Oatifix & I can confirm it really does nourish and replump my lack lustre face, however I would say be very careful with how much you exfoliate this off after use as it did make my face a little sore as the almonds can be quite abrasive, especially if you suffer from sensitive/dry skin.

The actual feel of my face after using this was soft and supple, you could really see and feel the difference in my skin, after the initial soreness of over exfoliating this off had calmed down, you could really see and feel that the mask had done its work, my skin was much brighter and significantly soothed and less aggravated, makeup went on so much easier and lasted longer throughout the day too!

I would definitely recommend trying Oatifix out if you have similar skin to mine or if you are just looking for a great weekly mask that can be doubled up as an exfoliator too & the best part of it is the price, at £6.75 it is such an affordable product that its so worth heading to your local lush for!

Jo Malone - Peony & Blush Suede Shower Oil

Good morning lovelies, I hope you're all well? 

Recently I made a little trip to one of my favourite stores, in search of a new body product to ease the fact that my skin had become a little dry over the previous months, I headed into Jo Malone.

Automatically presuming I would've been picking up some form of moisturiser, I found myself sampling the body cremes, the scents were gorgeous and that was my problem, I liked them all!

I think the sales assistant could sense I was struggling on what to purchase, she came and advised me on what particularly I was in search of, and also which scents in general I like, she suggested I have a hand and arm massage with herself, using some of the scents she recommended from what I had told her I personally like from Jo Malone.

We chose Wood Sage and Sea Salt in the body creme and on her recommendation, the Peony & Blush Suede shower oil, a product I had personally never tried from Jo Malone!

She applied a generous amount of the heavenly smelling oil onto my arms which lathered into the most luxurious milk, the fragrance is incredibly light and almost undetectable until you catch it upon a whim and wonder where the scent is coming from.

Once she washed away the oil she asked me to feel my skin, it felt incredibly soft and supple, you would've thought i'd done a full body scrub and moisturised it was *that* soft, I just couldn't stop touching my arms and wondering how it had become so soft from one quick application of what seemed like a body cleanser? 

To finish off she applied a small spatulas amount of body creme in the Wood Sage and Sea Salt scent (one of my personal favourites in scent from the collection).

This wasn't a scent I would have ever thought to have paired with the Peony and Blush Suede, but she assured me that they work really well together.. well .. they did, creating an incredibly warm and sofisticated layered fragrance 

I ended up picking up the Shower Oil as I absolutely loved the way it felt alone, it was moisturising enough by itself for me to want it, plus I also loved the ease of use, knowing that I could use this in the shower without having to apply much effort or take into consideration 'dry time' as you would with a body creme! 

Upon using this at home, Ive realise how long the oil is going to last, you honestly need the tiniest amount, a little goes a really long way! 

If im feeling particularly in need of some moisture, I use a second application of it on my skin and just allow the shower to gently wash off the oil without using any force to remove it, this allows a light layer of the oil to stay on my skin leaving it feeling super soft and luxurious, without feeling as if there is any residue on my skin, it feels almost invisible on my body but allows an extra level of moisture to penetrate my skin!

I really feel that this is going to be one of those beauty products that you just keep repurchasing throughout the years, it has become a daily staple in my routine and something I can honestly tell my skin is missing if i forget to use it.

Asides from the beautiful packaging it really is a super luxurious and splurge worthy product that I can honestly say you should own in your collection!

Are there any Jo Malone products you can recommend, I absolutely adore their candles and diffusers, but am yet to branch out into there perfumes, which is something I would really like to add to my stash, but yet again there are SO many scents I just don't know where to begin, so any advice or personal recommendations will be greatfully recieved.

a cult blogger fav?

 

I almost cant quite believe I've never written a post about this, seeing as I am now onto my third jar and cant see anything changing in my cleansing routine anytime soon, I thought it was about time that I graced my blog with this beauty and tell you all about it (although pretty sure the majority will have already read about this somewhere previously as its just too goddamn amazing). 

Having been a long time sufferer of teenage/adult acne & acne scarring, I had tried numerous and i mean numerous different products that claimed to be the cure to acne, Having spent a small fortune along the way (I could've had a deposit for a house with the amount I've spent) and many products thrown away, gifted to others or battled through with the hopes that one day they  *might* just work, I finally stumbled across this beauty! 

Hallelujah!!!! 

The Moringa Balm has not only saved my skin, but has saved my confidence, or lack of.. Too! 

The most beautifully soft, smooth balm, literally glides onto the skin like butter, is so lightweight and delicate it almost feels as if it couldn't really be doing anything to cleanse, then you look in the mirror and see every trace of makeup, dirt and the days grime just melting away.

Once adding water to the balm it emulsifies into a delicate milk that just gently washes away everything with ease, its such a concentrated balm that you could get away with one cleanse easily and feel pretty secure that your skin is freshly cleaned!

I can honestly say this product has single handedly cleared every trace of acne on my face, dramatically reduced the appearance of those blooming ugly scars and overall improved the clarity of my skin, its so much more radiant these days and I almost feel OK with leaving the house makeup free, I can't say I feel the overwhelming urge to slap on a full face of makeup anymore, a dab of lip balm is enough to make me feel put together these days!

Another thing I have noted is that I suffer with a very awkward patch of dry skin on the entirity of my toplip/ under my nose area and this has seriously helped in making it more moisturised and soothed, don't get me wrong if I don't moisturise for a day or so it does flare up ever so slightly but nothing like it ever did before, so this is a huge bonus for me regarding my skincare, as again I just couldn't find anything that didn't aggravate that area or help soothe it either! 

Another use I have found with helping soothe my dry skin is leaving the balm on overnight as an intensive mask treatment, or slathering it on whilst in the bath and allowaing the warm steamy air penetrate those pores, its a fabulous way of deeply moisturising the skin and also looks like I've had a facial the next day when I've done this.

I can honestly say if you are one of the minority that haven't ever picked up Emma Hardies cult classic Moringa Balm then what are you doing... Please please pick a tub of this up, if you are sufferers of acne, rosacea, scarring, dry or general dull skin, you really do need this in your life! 

I cant rave about this product anymore than I already have, unless I somehow manage to bag a job with Emma herself #dreamjob, it really is my all time cult fav cleansing product and I can fully expect to be using this years and years down the line, this better never be discontinued, I would cry rivers of tears haha!

Life Update, Birthday, Kittens & More..

Hey guys!
So I know its been a very long time since I last blogged and I do have my reasons this time!

Life has been very manic, I started a new job with a luxury skincare and cosmetics company (I wont name them as they have no affiliation with my blogging) its been fantastic and have enjoyed many weeks in London training, with the odd luxury dinner and hotel thrown in there for good measure.

We've had four little extra babies join our household, in kitten form of course ;)

 

 

They are all absolutely adorable, the final two are leaving home tomorrow and im super sad, I've been in tears this evening at the thought of them all being gone now, but very happy as they all have really lovely homes to go to with lots of new places to explore!

 

Aside from all the mania at home Myself and Samuel finalllyyyyy went on holiday this year for the first time in over 3 years, it was extremely well overdue, we actually went with his parents as we had never been away with them before.

 

 

We stayed in Matagorda in Lanzarote (where me and Sam had our first ever holiday together 7 years ago) and it was actually a really lovely time, we ate delicious food, visited beautiful underground caves and visited the old town where we first went all those years ago, of course there was a little shopping involved which I will be filming a haul video of very soon :)

 

The past few months have been a whirlwind, as my readers will know I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and have previously been on medication for this which I can say after a manic few months of being all over the place I am finally medication free and have been for almost 8 weeks now and I feel so free and happy to finally be rid of the awful things, don't get me wrong I do still have all the same problems as before, I just manage them a lot better now with the added bonus of feeling like ME again!

 

See.. I told you I had my reasons ;)

Im really glad to be back to blogging again, I've been wanting to write a post for a while now but just needed the right time to come for me to get back into the swing of things and finally feel ready with myself to do so!

 

There are some huge things coming my way for 2015 and I literally cannot wait to share my journey with all you lovely readers, for now lets concentrate on Christmas and what the festive season brings us!

Current Skincare Routine

So my skincare routine has changed up significantly since the last one I posted a good year ago, everything from my cleanser to mousturizer has been switched up and I'm loving the results I've been having from them combination!

This Garnier Miceller Water is seriously amazing, Ive always been against these cleansing waters as I they always leave my skin with a horrible texture and residue, this doesn't do either of those and I'm pleased I've found a good makeup remover that doesn't cost the earth.

Ok, so no I'm not sponsored by Clinique or being paid to write anything about them it just so happens that the rest of the products I've been using are by them.

I had been breaking out over the last fews months and wasn't sure what exactly was causing it so I decided to pick up these products as I'd heard a lot about them being really good for acne and blemish prone skin, the liquid facial soap lathers up and thoroughly removes left over makeup from the using the Miceller water and feels lovely on the skin, you could use this alone without a toner although I do like to use the toner as part of my routine as it ensures all traces of makeup are removed.

The toner is super clarifying and has a soothing tingle to it, the first time I used it I was quite shocked by how strong the tingling sensation was but after the second use I was used to it and actually enjoyed the feeling as it seems asif it is soothing everything after the cleanser! 

Moisturiser is a step I'm quite lazy with, I do tend to forget to apply it and when my skin is breaking out I feel like I should avoid using it as it tends to make my skin worse, I know you have to go through the purging stage with new skincare so I've been trying to stick it out and give this a fair go, initially it feels light on the skin but it thickens up whilst rubbing it into the skin making it quite a rich formula, so far this has been fine with my skin and I haven't broken out any further than before hand.

The last step is to apply the anti blemish solutions spot treatment gel to any current acne I have, this works incredibly well at diminishing and reducing the size of any spots, it clears them much quicker than if I hadn't used anything atall, again this is a product that gives quite a tingle and can be sore if applied to any open acne but only lasts a few seconds, it dries out the spot and the next day whatever I have applied it to is practically disappeared.

I'm currently feeling really happy with my skincare routine and feel lik my skin has cleared itself up significantly since using these products, the clinique skincare range is something I would really recommend especially with people with acne prone skin!

The Filming Face

Hi my lovelies, so as I recently explained in a blog post I am starting the wonderful and crazy world of Youtube :D

Today I filmed my third video (the first two were trial runs to get my confidence going), I decided the best thing to get me started was to film the ever predictable 'beauty guru' obvious, the "what's in my makeup bag" video!

Its actually been really fun to film, getting used to talking to no-one is actually surprisingly easy the hardest partest is strangely the editing, its super hard to get your head around and unless you have had some sort of training in it you will most likely struggle as I have, I cant even cut parts out yet haha!

So todays post is dedicated to my 'Filming Face' - what I wore for my first video..

I was really nervous about how to do my makeup as I wanted to represent myself to exactly who I am, I didn't want to over-do it, I wanted to keep things to how I would usually apply my makeup just a tad more put together for my viewers :)

I used Lancôme - Tient Idole Ultra as it is a good foundation for me as I like abit of coverage that will still allow my skin to breath (it can get a little hot being all flustered infront of the camera you know!)
I also applied a little Collection - Lasting Perfection concealer under the ol bags under my eyes and down the bridge of nose as a slight contour, along with a touch of my Illamsqua cream blush in Seduce to add a pinched flush to my cheeks just to make me look a little more awake than zombiefied, lastly for the base I brushed some MAC Mineralize Skin Finish - Adored to give me a healthy glow and highlight on the tops of my cheekbones, I 'adore' this highlighter, its the perfect shade for me as im just a little on the pale side!

Loving the shot I managed to grab here haha & excuse the top being a tad see-through (oops) #filmingfail.

Prepping the lips was a must before anything could be applied to them as for some reason I seem to have awoken with super dry chapped lips today so I used my Lush Lip Scrub - Bubblegum (tastes freaking amazing) with some Lanolips Lemonade Lip-Aid to make them all soft again I then used my favourite formula glosses at the moment - Tanya Burr - Exotic Island which has to be one of the prettiest blue pinks imaginable, and makes your teeth look white white - always good for being on film :)

Eyes and brows were kept pretty simple, as I explained earlier I didn't want to stray to far from my usual everyday look so kept it muted with MAC's Naked Lunch and Satin Taupe shadows light brushed over the lids, my sleek brow kit in light, I only applied the shadow to my brows as the gel can be a little heavy for the daytime and is slightly too dark for me, then set this all in place with my No7 Brow Set Gel :)

skyn iceland - icelandic relief eye cream..

Good morning my beautiful readers, hope your days going well :)

I wanted to write a little post for you about a new eye cream i purchased, at first i wasn't going to bother talking about it as its one simple product which i didnt think many people would've been really interested in reading about, that is until i started using it!

Icelandic Relief Eye Cream is described as a lightweight contouring eye cream to minimize puffiness, wrinkles and dark circles.
I can definitely say that the claims it has are backed up by this product, since working full-time, blogging and keeping on top of the house i can say sleep is something that i dont get alot of any more, i have never been one to get bags or dark circles under my eyes, i was actually convinced at one point i was one of those lucky few that just had a good under eye area, unfortunately long days and short nights have taken there toll on me and now im an avid member of the dark circle crew ah!

The main reason for me buying this was because of the fact it is named as a 'relief' cream, i like the sound of this, it makes me feel as if the product is just going to take the weight of the day of my shoulders and allow me to relax in the evening, ive done a little research into the product for you and thought i would give you the facts on this little gem..

Features & Benefits:

- Vitamin K increases circulation to help diminish dark under-eye circles
- Anti-aging rice peptides help firm skin by destroying the enzymes that break down collagen and elastin
- Orange peel helps reduce puffiness
- Cotton powder fills fine lines and acts as an optical diffuser to downplay wrinkles and dark circles
- Icelandic kelp helps revitalizes skin and fight inflammation

The cream is of a really thick whipped consistency, but once applied to the under eye area it is extremely light weight and soothing, its such a delight to apply this after freshly cleansing your face and moisturising, its a luxury product that i really cant rave more about.

Beauty Haul.. House of Fraser, Boots & Lush..

So id tweeted a few days ago asking what primers/setting sprays you all recommended, id been on the hunt for some new ones as my current bits just weren't working that well for me, i dont know if its to do with the weather but my make-up just isnt staying on my skin, it doesnt matter what foundation i wear it just comes off and im left patchy at the end of the day :(

The majority of people that replied kept saying to go for the Urban Decay setting sprays which was infact the ones i had my eyes on already, ive been previously using Mac Fix+ which dont get me wrong i absolutely LOVE it, it just leaves me looking to dewy for this time of year which i think isnt helping my makeup stay on very well.

I decided to go for the Chill setting spray as it sets your makeup perfectly but doesnt matte out the skin, it still leaves you looking fresh and not overly dewy, but gives a healthy glow without being shiney, i tried this out the past few days and i have to say my makeup has'n't budged, not even in the slightest, i even wore it last night and my makeup was still completely intact after going to a gig and a club (yes i know i actually ventured out for once in my life instead of playing cat lady at home with my blanket and a cup of tea)

The primer i had already kind of decided on as ive been wanting to give this a go ever since i saw Boots had started stocking it, the SmashBox Photo-ready primer is oil and paraben free, i liked the idea of this, once applied to your face it literally sinks into the skin, completely disguising any pores on your face leaving you with a lovely smooth base ready to apply your foundation, concealer etc.

I purchased the smaller 12ml sized primer incase i didnt like it, this is currently in Boots for £12.50 which i think is a really good price for a SmashBox product, and its also the first time ive tried something from the brand :)

This little orangey goodness caught my eye, its a shower brush, anyone who knows me knows i have a serious hair product addiction and anything that can be used in the shower to help smoothand de-tangle my wild mane is a huge bonus, i had never seen these before and i think the fact it was orange helped sway me into buying it as im obsessed with the bloody colour :)

I also really like Denman products, i have a teezer brush from them and it gives the best volume out of any brush ive ever used, they have such good quality brushes so i trust this will be just as good!

Another product again ive been wanting for ages but could never justify the £5.50 price tag for a small tub of basically sugar you could make yourself at home, but the last few weeks my lips have been dryer than normal and frankly im too lazy to make my own haha, the smell of this is divine, literally sweet bubblegum goodness in a jar, plus you can use the product straight from the pot and lick of the remains which is good for a little sweet tooth lover like me!

I must say its really helped the condition of my lips and they look much plumper and more alive again now, i use this before bed and then apply the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Balm over the top and i wake up with beautiful soft lips ready for the day ahead :)

Hope you've all had a good weekend, mine has been super busy with work and actually going out for once, im now very sleepy and will be reverting back to my usual cat lady self and lazing with Samuel and the cats watching a film.

Revlon Photoready Skinlights - Face Illuminator..

Afternoon my lovelies, how is your bright and sunny monday going? Im currently at home today as ive come down with an awful cold and sickness fluey bug and feel absolutely awful so im dedicating today to being lazy, drinking tea and blogging from under the blanket :(

Ive been wanting to write a post about this for a while as the product has been sitting in my stash for a while now but i never really knew how to use it so i wanted to test it out first so i knew exactly how it worked so i could tell all you wonderful girls (and the occasional boy) about it :)

I decided to purchase the colour 'Pink Rose 200' as it was my favourite shade from them all and i wanted it more as a highlighter than a bronzing product, the shades you can pick up currently are:

100 Bare Light
200 Pink Light
400 Bronze Light

After reading Kaye's blog post i realized how much i actually now want all of the shades as you can really works wonders on the face with all them if you know how to correctly apply them, although for now i am very happy with the shade i picked up.

Swatch on my hand above, you can see my skin colouring and how pretty it looks even on a pale toned skin.

Pink Light is a champagne toned highlight, it reminds me of the MAC Strobe Cream with a pinkier tone to it, its beautiful as a cheek and brow bone highlight over makeup just light buffed on the skin with my Mac contour brush or a Real Techniques contour brush as the are slightly tapered meaning you can really work the product into the smallest of areas, i also love to run this over the nose and on the cupids bow to really accentuate the lips, infact i used this on one of my clients last weekend for her birthday party and it looked absolutely beautiful with her complexion!

My favourite way to use this product is to actually mix it in with my foundation, my favourite product to use is the YSL Touche Eclat, as it has radiance properties in its own formula so mixing it with a small amount of the Skin-lights gives the most flawless, radiant, dewy finish you could ever imagine, it really is the most beautiful way of applying the Skin-lights to the face and then adding touches of it in the areas i explained above over the top just to set it off, in the photo above i applied the skin-lights to my client with the YSL foundation and you can see how it gives a lovely peachy glow without looking heavy or cakey, they actually blend really well together making the formula really easy to apply!

There are a few downsides to the product, and that is, if you have large pores, scarring, etc the product can tend to reveal these slightly, so on myself as i do suffer with this i just apply it as a highlight rather than on my whole face, it can also make oily skin types looker 'oilier' so a powder is needed with this!

Overall im absolutely in love with the Skin-lights and as soon as i recover from this horrid illness i will be straight off to my local drugstore to pick up the other two as i definitely want to re-create the look from Kaye's blog post!

As soon as i saw this product was being released i knew i was going to have it, a 'beautiful skin correcter' YES PLEASE.

My reasons for getting this product are, as some of you may know, my acne scarring.
The product is aimed as a 'dark spot correcter' so im hoping this could be a product that could really reduce the appearance of them, there aren't as of yet many reviews out there on this so i definitely brought it on a whim, a very exspensive whim at that, priced at £69 a bottle this is definitely on the higher price point scheme of things, but the reviews i have read have all highly praised this at reducing marks on there skin, so fingers crossed this is money well spent.

DreamTone is for the woman seeking visible dark spot correction and a more even skin tone. She wants skin so naturally beautiful, she can dare to bare her skin.

WHAT IS IT?
DreamTone is a new generation skin tone clarifying serum that not only corrects the look of dark spots, but also goes beyond to correct the appearance of uneven skin tone and color imperfections. The serum is customized to skin's specific needs — such as treating the look of dark spots or redness.

WHAT DOES IT TARGET?

I purchased this lightest of the three serums, because im very pale, this seemed to be suited best to my skin type.

I really love the twist cap opening to DreamTone, it houses the liquid inside the bottle nicely so theres no way of any spillage, or the lid coming off in your bag, especially good for travelling with, the bottle is nice and sleek and looks lovely in my collection.
I also really love the design of the bottle, its a pink/purple toned ombre and is so different to any other product ive seen out there, so it really stands out what the product is.

As you can see the serum is very light, it has an almost pearlescent sheen to it but this completely dissapears when applied to your face, the fact it is has the sheen to it makes the face looks really illuminated and awake, it appears to make the skin look very fresh and clean so perfect for a base underneath makeup.

Im really looking forward to trying this product, i am going to start using it tommorow morning once ive done my usual skin routine and update you all in a few weeks to let you know how im getting on with it!

Ren Gycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask..

One word.. HEAVENLY.

Seriously could a mask be any nicer? It literally smells like a cocktail, or a Solero lolly, anyone remember those?
This is down to the gorgeous ingredients, Natural Fruit Acids from Passion Fruit, Lemon, Grape and Pineapple,
Papain from Papaya these exfoliate the outer layer of the skin, encouraging cell turnover and smoothing fine lines, ok so i dont have 'fine lines' as of yet but this product is great for congested skin and as we all know my skin is definitely being given a huge clear out.

The consistency of the mask is light, it looks as if it would be really sticky but when you apply it to your face its actually not atall, infact it just slides on smoothly but stays perfectly, it is described as: A potent bio active peel mask designed to renew the complexion, reduce the appearance of fine lines and dramatically improve skin tone.

This mask definitely lives upto these claims in my opinion, i only just brought this and used it a few times so far and i can say its seriously cleaned my skin up, along with my Clarisonic i feel like my skin is brighter and more radiant already, after the first time using this i can say it really brought any small spots to the surface of the skin but they have faded very quickly using the Clarisonic everyday since.

Again, excuse the no make-up, i swear every post on my blog none of you see me looking 'normal' haha, i seriously need to update my blog with some photos where im not bearing all!

You can see the consistency in these photos, it gives you a lovely looking glow when your wearing the mask, not like those awful clay ones where they dry to your face and make you look awful, not to mention feel like pottery!

I thought this was going to be a peel of mask so i was suprised to see enclosed was a muslin cloth, you actually just leave the mask for 10 minutes and rinse of with the enclosed cloth dampened in warm water, i actually really like this as it doesnt dry on your face, i find it alot friendlier to my skin this way, and using the muslin cloth i know its going to completely remove impurities and any left over mask from my face.

The product does state you might feel a slight tingling when using the mask but personally i didnt feel a thing, other than pleasantness :)

The results from using the mask are:

Removes dead skin cells to renew the complexion.
Skin looks brighter, healthier, more radiant.
Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Combats congestion, blackheads and blemishes.

Im super pleased i picked this up and i think this could be one of my favourite masks ive ever used, infact, yep it is :)

Clarisonic Mia 2..

Helloo my lovelies, so as you can tell from this post title i got a beautiful little gift for christmas..

Im literally over the moon that i finally have one, ive been wanting one for years now, every birthday and christmas i ask for one and end up changing it to something else, but i asked for a suprise this year and finally recieved one!
I got the Mia2 deep pore cleansing system, i absolutely love it!

There are literally tons of reviews online about how amazing the Clarisonic is, i know its going to be a huge investment into my skincare regime, and as many of my followers no i am really into my skincare and want to look after myself as much as i possibly can, on the inside of the box it has a mini 'article' i would say of what the Clarisonic does, and how effictively it cleans your skin..

I must say i can definitely say after using this tonight for the first time i can say i do NOT clean my face thoroughly enough by manual cleansing and i have photos to back this up..

I cleaned my face with the deep pore cleanser that comes in the set, by 'cleaned' i applied it to my face and with my hands i manually cleaned what i thought was all the makeup off of my face, i then applied a 20p sized amount to the head and followed the timer on the Clarisonic, it beeps/vibrates when you need to change the area on your face, 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 seconds on the chin/nose and then 10 on each cheek and your done, i washed my cleanser off with a splash of water and then took a look at the brush

It was literally orange and dirty, considering i had 'cleaned' my face already i never expected there to be anywhere near as much residue as there was, it just goes to show you how much we really dont get down into the pores of the skin by manual cleansing!

I then swept off any remaining mascara left on with my Clarins Eye Makeup Remover and then applied my usual Origins - GinZing moisturizer, which applied like a dream, it sunk straight into my skin and plumped it back up, as the Clarisonic did leave it feeling a little tight where i had properly deep cleaned.

I have to say im absolutely blown away by this product, or should we say beauty tool, i firmly believe this will be a staple in my routine, i have heard that you can go through a 'purging' phase with the Clarisonic (basically where all the acne comes to the surface of the skin where it has lay dormant underneath it for so long) but i am happy to go through that if i can see there's is going to be real benefits from using it!

Im so pleased and will update you all every week of before and after photos of over the next month, on how i'm getting on with it, and if its worth you going out and buying one yourself.
